Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English musician and singer who was born on the 22nd of August 1995, in London United Kingdom. Dua Lipa signed to Warner Bros Records after a few years of working and put out a self-titled album in the year 2017. It peaked at number three at the U.K. Albums Chart and released eight singles which included Be The One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number-one track New Rules which peaked at 6th within the United States. The album, which has since been certified platinum in a variety of countries across the world, won her the two Brit Awards (in 2018) for British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Dua Lipa was born at the age of 18 in London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). The maternal grandparents of her are Bosnian. Her ancestors also come from the Kosovo town of Peja. Lipa's grandparents were both historians. There are two sisters, Rina as well as Gjin.
